SES Community,

It is hard to believe that next week is the last week in October. Time flies when you're having fun!

With that being said; I wanted to share with you that our Lost and Found is growing so, if your child is missing any items of clothing please have them check the container next to the bench in the lobby.

Students, parents and staff had a blast making scarecrows for the Shoreham community. Students that participated enjoyed having the opportunity to connect with their peers. Many thanks to those who donated clothes, snacks and their time to help SES students make our school community festive for the fall season.

Thursday is Halloween and we are asking that students do not come to school dressed up in a costume during the school day. Students may get dressed up in an appropriate costume for Trunk-or- Treat at 5pm in the Shoreham cafeteria if they like.

Lastly, thank you to all that came out on Tuesday to the Community Budget Feedback meeting, we truly value your thoughts and perspectives. If you weren’t able to come out on Tuesday please know you can always reach out to our school board members and share your thoughts.

All Shoreham families are invited. This is an opportunity to meet Superintendent Baker and share your hopes and questions about the school.

Please remember:

1. If your child will be late or absent please call Irene in the main office.

2. To return your school forms as soon as possible to our front office!

3. Send your child with proper footwear for school (including sneakers for PE).

4. Students are not supervised outside / inside before 7:30 am.

5. If you are picking up your child at school please make sure to pick them up on the southern

side of the school NOT the northern side by the church.

6. Pick up students from the main entrance only

7. Please sign up for parent teacher conferences with Irene or your child's classrooms teacher.

November 12th - Meet Superintendent Baker from 6 - 7pm in the cafeteria

November 20th - Picture Retakes

November 20th - Coffee with the Principal 8:00am

November 21st - Thanksgiving Luncheon starts at 11:30 in the cafeteria

November 25th - 29th - No School

Reminders:

1. Soccer is officially done and we had a great night to celebrate by playing against the parents.

2. Hip hop dance pricing is changed so please reach out if your child is interested.

3. Line dancing reminder 11/13 from 6-7pm.

4. Our annual Holiday Bazaar 12/14 will once again offer local products so reach out if your child or you are interested in being a vendor.
