Join us on Tuesday, February 3rd from 3:00–10:00 PM for a delicious way to support Ogle! Dine in or take out at the Texas Roadhouse McKinney location, and 10% of your total food purchase will be donated back to Ogle. Simply show the graphic below or mention to your server or to-go host that you are there to support Ogle Elementary. It’s an easy (and tasty!) way to give back—thank you for supporting our school community!

It’s time to Snap, Crackle & Give back to our community! Ogle is hosting a cereal drive for Frisco Family Services and bring a little breakfast joy to families in need.

Monday, February 2nd - Thursday, February 12th, we’re collecting unopened boxes of cereal. Every box donated helps make mornings brighter and reminds our students that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact.

Not to mention, classes & grades can come together to earn a PJ day or Cereal party! 600 boxes and we will create cereal dominoes through the school!

During Kindness Week, students are invited to join in our daily dress-up days as we celebrate compassion, friendship, and making others feel good.

From cozy vibes to bright colors, each day is a fun reminder that small acts of kindness can make a BIG difference!

Check out the schedule below and help your student pick out an outfit that shows how they spread kindness—one smile at a time!

Get ready to step back in time for a 50s-themed Sock Hop Night that’s fun for the whole family! Break out your poodle skirts, leather jackets, and saddle shoes!

Enjoy an evening filled with music, dancing, activities, photo opportunities, food, and a silent auction you won’t want to miss. It’s sure to be a night of fun, laughter, and school spirit!

What a night! Multicultural Night was a wonderful celebration of the cultures that make our school community so special! Families enjoyed music, food, performances, and displays from around the world, all while connecting with one another and learning something new. Thank you to everyone who shared their traditions and helped make the evening such a meaningful and memorable experience.

This month, we are thrilled to recognize Becky Bang, mom of Catherine & Caroline, as our Volunteer of the Month.

Becky has been an incredible help throughout the year, always willing to step in wherever she’s needed. From Popcorn Fridays and Fall Fest to Winter Parties, the Fall Fundraiser, teacher gift wrapping, and so much more, her behind-the-scenes support and positive attitude help keep everything running smoothly. Becky generously gives her time away from her own family to support our school, and her dedication does not go unnoticed.

We are so lucky to have Becky not only this year, but in past years as well, and we are incredibly grateful for all she does for our Ogle community.

Frisco ISD requires all volunteers to complete a background check each school year. You’ll be prompted during your Voly account setup, and approval usually takes 3–5 business days (watch your inbox for confirmation).

• Start by completing the online background check through Voly. A new background check must be completed each school year as required by Frisco ISD.
• Next, fill out our Ogle PTA Volunteer Interest Form
• Then, log into Voly to view and sign up for opportunities below.

• Silent Auction Committee: This team helps plan & organize our Spring fundraising event. Committee members will help collect donations, create auction baskets, reach out to local businesses, and promote the event. If you love planning, connecting with the community, or just want to lend a hand, we’d love to have you on the team!
• Popcorn Friday Volunteers: Lend a hand by helping pop, fill, and distribute bags of popcorn!
• Work Room Volunteers: Supporting our teachers by helping with lamination, cutting, sorting, stapling, etc. *All materials provided and younger siblings are welcome to join*
• Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students): Spend the day on campus volunteering with your student & helping in your child's classroom (any male figure (or female!)) Interested in joining the Watch D.O.G.S. program or want more information? Email Don Bailey, our Watch D.O.G. coordinator, at watchDOGS@ogleelempta.org.
• Mav Money Store: Help us run the Mav Money store during lunches where kids get to spend their hard earned Mav Money for prizes.
• Mystery Readers (TBD): Calling all Kinder parents! Sign up to be a mystery reader for your kiddo's classroom!
• Library Volunteers (TBD): Assist Mrs. Harkrider by checking books, labeling, organizing, and restocking shelves.
