A Note from the Principal
Day 170/180
Tuesday, Ms. BW (Grades K–4) and Mr. St. George (Grade 5) hosted our Spring Concerts to a tremendous crowd of families and supporters. A huge shout out goes to both music teachers for putting on a fantastic show and to all of the families who were able to attend. The hard work and preparation that goes into a performance like this is significant, and our students did an outstanding job showcasing their talents.
Yesterday, our kindergarten team wrapped up Kindergarten Screening for next year’s incoming students as they prepare to begin their academic journey at the Jacobs School. Fittingly, today we welcomed back some of our former kindergarteners as the graduating Class of 2026 took one final lap through the halls during our annual Senior Parade. It is always a special moment to see Jacobs alumni return to where their educational journey began. We wish the Class of 2026 the very best as they graduate this Saturday.
Tomorrow, our middle school band will represent the Jacobs School at the Trills and Thrills Music Festival before heading to Canobie Lake Park for some well deserved fun after a year of hard work and dedication. We wish them the best of luck and know they will make us proud.
Next week might as well be called "Field Trip Week" as our calendar is packed with exciting learning experiences. The highlight will certainly be our sixth graders heading off to Nature’s Classroom for their two night, three day overnight trip. The fun will continue upon their return with JMS Field Day taking place one week from today. More importantly, the JMS House Cup Championship will be on the line. Which House will earn the most Pirate Gold Points and take home the coveted JMS House Cup Trophy? All will be decided next Thursday.
The finish line is quickly approaching, but there is still plenty of excitement, learning, and celebration ahead.
