Kinder-2nd Grade iPad Collection before Summer Break! Please Read!

Dear FVES Families,

As we approach the end of a wonderful 2025-2026 school year, TVUSD is preparing for a systematic technology inventory and device reboot.

  • We will be collecting all school-issued iPads along with their charging block and cable from our Kinder- 2nd grade students before the summer break.
  • We will be collecting these during the school day during our last week of school.
  • Why are we collecting devices? Gathering these devices allows our technology team to perform essential maintenance, update software, and complete an accurate inventory. More importantly, it ensures that when we return in the fall, we can place the most appropriate device and developmentally appropriate technology into the hands of your students based on their current grade levels.

  • Students attending ESY or those who require an assistive device per their IEP may keep their devices over the summer.

We want to encourage all of our families to use the upcoming break as an opportunity to unplug and recharge. Balancing technology is a skill essential for our students to learn and grow. Summer is the perfect time for children to engage in imaginative play, read books, explore the outdoors, and spend quality time with family and friends.

Thank you for your support.
