What's Happening in Guidance?

Welcome/Howdy Lesson

We’re kicking off the year with Taco Falls Apart! 🌮 Students will meet their school counselor and learn who we are, what we do, and how we can help. Through a fun story and activity, students will discover that their counselor is a safe person they can talk to when they need help, support, or someone to listen. 💛

Safety during Lockdown Drills

Our students will learn about lockdown drills and school safety through the book Lockdown Drill at Superhero School. 🦸‍♂️ Students will practice important safety strategies in an age-appropriate way, learn how to follow adult directions, and understand that drills help us be prepared, calm, and safe. Our goal is to help students feel confident knowing what to do if there is ever an emergency. 💙
