BCJ SOAR Spotlight

Weekly Staff Message
Hello BCJ!
This week is filled with several exciting end-of-year celebrations, including our Kindergarten and 5th Grade events as we honor the growth, achievements, and milestones of our students. Thank you for the care, patience, and dedication you continue to pour into our children each day to make these moments possible.
Please be sure to check the BCJ calendar and your email regularly for important updates, reminders, and event details throughout the week.
It was truly a joy to see our former BCJ students return to brighten our hallways before their graduation ceremony this evening. Watching them walk our halls again served as a powerful reminder that the work we do each day leaves a lasting impact far beyond elementary school. You are helping shape futures, build confidence, and create memories that students carry with them for years to come.
As we continue through these final weeks, letβs remain focused, supportive, and intentional as we finish the school year strong together. Your commitment, resilience, and teamwork do not go unnoticed, and BCJ is better because of each of you.
Wishing everyone a positive, productive, and celebratory week ahead!

Gentle Reminder
This is a friendly reminder that students are not permitted in the staff lounge for any reason. The staff lounge is a designated space for employee use only, and it should remain free of student access at all times.
Please ensure that students are always supervised in appropriate, designated areas of the building. Maintaining clear boundaries helps us ensure a safe, professional, and secure environment for both students and staff.
Thank you for your continued attention to this expectation and for your ongoing commitment to student safety and building-wide supervision.
Emergency Drills
As we approach the end of the school year, we will conduct a few additional emergency drills to ensure students and staff remain prepared and confident in our safety procedures. Please continue to review emergency expectations and procedures with students regularly in your classrooms.
Be sure to also check the daily messages for any updates or specific instructions related to drill schedules and protocols.
FastBridge Spring Assessment
Shout out to our amazing testing team for an outstanding job getting our FastBridge assessments completed in addition to MAP grade-level testing! Your organization, flexibility, and commitment to ensuring students are supported through multiple layers of assessment is truly appreciated.
Testing will continue this week, and we appreciate everyoneβs continued focus and teamwork as we move through the remaining sessions.
Way to go, team, your hard work does not go unnoticed!
