Kudos to our Middle School Presidential Award winners from the 2024-25 school year -- Bella Basting, Lillian Heisner, and Avalee Langreck!

Certain criteria need to be met in order for a student to receive this award. At the heart of them are persistence and hard work, not just for a semester or a year, but the duration of their middle school career.

The President's Education Awards Program is awarded on behalf of the President of the United States and the United States Secretary of Education and was founded in 1983.

This year’s recipients of the President’s Award for Educational Excellence demonstrated superior academic success in the classroom. Congratulations!

#PointerNation and the School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA) are honored to recognize Dani Robb for completing the portfolio process to become a National Certified School Social Worker! She is just the 44th School Social Worker in the entire nation to earn this distinction.

The NCSSW credential is awarded to school social work professionals who have voluntarily sought and obtained an advanced practice certification that demonstrates mastery of the nine competencies of the National School Social Work Practice Model through a rigorous portfolio review process. The National Certified School Social Worker is regarded as the highest level of certification available in the field of School Social Work.

Congrats to #PointerNation's Mineral Point MS/HS Trap Team members were scheduled to compete at the USA High School Clay Target League National Championship in Mason, MI Saturday!

Over 3,000 of the nation’s best youth clay target student-athletes competed for the title of National Champion.

A big congratulations to our #PointerNation Volleyball team which has earned the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association All-Academic Team Award for the 2024 season!

The criteria for a team to achieve the All-Academic Award is to have an average team GPA of 3.4. Our girls crushed it with a 3.83 average team GPA!

Your commitment to success on the court and in the classroom is admirable.

We had some lucky Summer Adventure Camp kids! Mother Goose came to help Mrs. McGuire and Ms. Anderson kick off the Kingdom of Kindergarten!

Mrs. McGuire got to celebrate her milestone 60th Birthday this week with some special friends at Pointer Adventure Camp!

1st Graders in Summer Adventure Camp have been busy looking through books trying to find sight words, then writing them down when they find them!

School supplies are starting to hit store shelves! Lists are available for the 2025-26 school year at this link.
