Principal's Message
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. I look forward to welcoming the students back soon- the office is too quiet without them!
To help get everyone ready for the first day of school, this newsletter includes some important links and information.
You might notice some changes on campus. It has been an exciting summer for ICIS! We started construction, which will add six new classrooms as well as student bathrooms once completed. We will also have a new playground (sorry kids, not this school year!) once it is completed as well. We are very grateful and excited for this project!
I hope to see everyone at our Back to School Night on August 4th from 5:30-6:30! Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 5th. The doors will open for car riders at 7:45am. Our school day begins at 8:15am. Please see traffic patterns below for guidance. There were no changes to the ICIS traffic pattern from last year.
Normally, Wednesdays are early release. Please note that the first day of school is NOT early release. We will dismiss at our normal time, 3:05pm.

Car Rider Traffic Flow
Families who use the car rider lines for drop-off and pick-up, please review the morning and afternoon traffic flow maps and information. We ask for your patience as we begin a new school year, as the safety of our students is of the utmost importance!
- The ICES and ICIS traffic flow patterns will remain the same as last year. There will be no changes to drop-off or pick-up at ICES and ICIS. Please review the maps.
- ICMS and ICHS student car riders MUST be dropped off and picked up in the BACK parking lot. Students should not be dropped off in the front lot. The only exception is students riding to school with a high school driver with a parking permit.
- All ICMS/ICHS car riders will be dropped off at the ICHS fieldhouse for morning drop-off. Students will walk through the pool lobby and then head to class.
- NEW! For afternoon pick-up, ICMS/ICHS parents will form lines in the parking spots behind the fieldhouse. All ICMS and ICHS students will be dismissed from the fieldhouse and enter vehicles from the sidewalk.
- The entrance behind ICMS will serve as an ENTRANCE ONLY during drop off and pick up. All cars must exit to the west of the buildings and head north or south from there.
- Please review the maps!
- As a reminder, school buildings open at 7:45 a.m. Please do not drop off your child before 7:45 a.m.
