PRINCIPAL UPDATE PRINCIPAL UPDATE

Hello Sheiko Families!

Wow! What a wonderful week! The weather was beautiful and the learning was FANTASTIC! You should be so proud of your student(s). They are really working hard! As you know, we adopted a new ELA (English Language Arts) curriculum. If you were not able to attend this week's meeting, here is the video and slide deck from that meeting:

This week's BIG ANNOUNCEMENT is about homecoming! Sheiko will be walking in the WBHS homecoming parade on Friday, October 10th. We will meet at the Prince of Peace Church (corner of Walnut Lake and Orchard Lake - by the "new Sheiko") at 4:45. An adult must walk with the students. It is helpful to park one car at Prince of Peace and one car at the high school so that you don't have to walk back. We are going to wear our purple Sheiko shirts from the FunD Run, and feel free to bring candy to pass out to the crowd. The parade starts at 5:30. We will meet by the Sheiko banner - so just look for the sea of purple and the Sheiko School sign! It will be a ton of fun!

Thank you for all you do! I love being the principal at Sheiko, so thank you for all of your support!

Gooooooooooooooooooooo Lakers!

Warmly,

Blaine McDowell

We always welcome parents/guardians to drop off lunch for their student. However, we will not accept food deliveries for students from vendors. This is a safety issue. If food is delivered from a vendor, your student can pick it up from the office at the end of the school day.

Thank you.
