Dear NES Families,

Start with Hello week was a great success! So many smiling faces and students working to make everyone feel welcome and a part of our school community!

Thank you to our parents who attended the first SAC/Title I meeting of the year. We look forward to seeing you and many more and meetings in the future. Your input is invaluable for decision-making to best serve our students each day.

Remember, we do not have school on Monday, September 23rd, we look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, September 24th.

We are excited to see our kindergarten families on Thursday and our first grade families on Friday for our first APTT meetings of the year! We will have a special treat for the classroom with the highest number of parents attending and will celebrate families that attend all three with a bar-b-que picnic at the end of the year!

Congratulations to our students of the week for making great choices last week!

Invites for APTT meetings will be coming home today. Please fill out the bottom portion and return to your child's teacher to let them know if you can or cannot attend. We will be celebrating the class with the highest parent attendance for APTT and would love to have 100% of parents attend!

Below is information and logistics about the mornings of APTT Fall & Spring Meetings:

• All Meetings 8:30-9:30 a.m.

• Parents will present ID and sign in at the hallway in front of the main office

• Parents will be able to walk to the classroom for their parent team meeting at 8:25 to sign in there. Please do not attempt to enter campus prior to 8:15AM. We are still unloading buses and making sure all students have had breakfast.

• At 9:30, parents will leave classrooms so academic instruction can begin for students

If you are still having difficulty with accessing Rooms or receiving notifications from the school app, bring your cell phone and we will try to assist and troubleshoot after APTT to make sure this communication tool is up and running smoothly for you!

Monday - No school for students

Tuesday burrito / cheeseburger/ (add) fiestada pizza

Wednesday beefaroni / wedge sandwich / smoothie

Thursday baked chicken / stromboli (no chef)

Friday pizza crunchers / PBJ
