Students having breakfast before school must enter directly through cafeteria doors in the back of school - they will be dismissed to their classrooms at the 1st bell.
Cherokee Trail will once again provide free breakfast and lunch to all students.
Even though meals are free, families are encouraged to provide household income information through the free and reduced form. This information helps schools receive important funding and allows eligible families to continue receiving support for school-related fees and expenses.
STUDENT COMMUNICATION DEVICES
Beginning this school year, all DCSD elementary schools will implement a bell-to-bell ban on student personal devices, including cell phones and smartwatches that can text or make calls.
Students should either leave these devices at home or keep them stored in their backpacks for the entire school day.
