Bellerive Bulletin
May 17, 2026
Dear Bellerive Families,
As we sail into the final days of the school year, I want to sincerely thank you for all of your support throughout our “Sea of Leaders” year at Bellerive. This year has been filled with so much growth, learning, leadership, and many special memories for our students and staff.
I continue to be incredibly grateful for our amazing Bellerive community and the partnership we share with families each day. Whether you volunteered at events, supported learning at home, participated through PTO, or helped make special activities possible, your involvement has made a tremendous difference for our students.
This will be the final weekly newsletter of the school year. Please watch for important back-to-school updates later this summer. In this newsletter, you’ll also find important dates for next school year, along with information about ordering School Supply Boxes between now and July 15.
Thank you again for helping make this such a wonderful year at Bellerive. We are so proud of our student leaders and thankful for the strong partnership we share with our families.
Have a fantastic summer!
In partnership,
Joey Kneer

Extra Yearbooks on Sale on Friday
Yearbooks will be distributed on Friday, May 22 (last day of school) to all students who purchased one. (If you're unsure whether your child ordered a yearbook, please check with their classroom teacher.) Grade-levels will have a yearbook signing on Friday morning! Students who did not purchase a yearbook will be given an autograph book so everyone can participate!
A limited number of extra yearbooks will be available for purchase for $20 (cash or check only). Sales will begin at 8:30 am on Friday, May 22 in the main office. You may stop by in person or send the payment with your child. Please note: Extra yearbooks are first come, first served—no advance reservations can be taken.
End-of-Year Medication Pick-Up
From Nurse Osterholt:
I wanted to let you know that Parkway Health Services protocol now requires that all medication housed in the school health office must be picked up by parents or guardians by the last day of school, Friday, May 22. In order to ensure the safe return of medication to parents, no medication will be sent home with students in backpacks or on the bus/school transportation.
If your student will be attending summer school, please obtain a copy of the signed physician medication authorization form and action plans from your school nurse. You will need to take your student’s medication and the authorization form(s) to the summer school nurse at the beginning of summer school.
Every student who needs medication at school is required by school board policy to provide new signed authorization forms annually. New medication authorization forms and action plans for asthma, diabetes, seizures and allergies can be found on the Parkway website.
Thank you so much for helping us keep all students healthy and safe at school. Please contact me (mosterholt@parkwayschools.net or 314-415-6060) if you have any questions.
