Just like that, the beginning of the school year has come and gone, and we are officially switching gears to think about conference time!

Yes, you heard that correctly. It is time to sign up for fall conferences with your student's teacher.

The sooner you click the link and sign up, the more time slots will be available for you to choose from, so be sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible. Signing up early is also a huge help to your child's teacher, as it allows them more time to plan and prepare for conferences.

As we move into fall, students will participate in several safety drills throughout the coming weeks, including tornado drills, fire drills, evacuation drills, and practice with our Standard Response Protocols.

At school, we review each procedure and discuss expectations so students know what to do. We encourage families to talk with their child about these drills at a level that feels appropriate for them.

Fall temperatures are all over the place right now chilly mornings, warm afternoons, and windy recesses. Please help students come prepared by checking the forecast each day and sending layers they can easily add or remove.

A few helpful items:

• A sweatshirt or light jacket

• Hat and gloves for cold mornings (They can keep a set in their lockers for chilly days.)

• Closed‑toe shoes for recess

• Rain‑ready gear on wet days

Being dressed for the weather keeps students comfortable, focused, and ready for a great day of learning

School Board- Members ( Board of education meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, in the STEAM room, at 6:30 PM. These meetings are open meetings unless the board is in executive session. However, in order to address the board you must be on the agenda. The deadline for submitting a request to be on the agenda is the Tuesday the week before the meeting by 4 PM.)

St. Patrick Church- Fall Festival (Reminder that Fall Festival Raffle tickets were sent home last week and can be returned to the front office.)

October 13th- Parent Teacher Conferences 3-6 (early dismissal)

October 15th- Parent Teacher Conferences 2-7 (early dismissal)
