Action Item: See Ms. King's email from Weds 12/03 regarding Grade Level Teacher activities on Winter Jam day (Friday 12/19)

Check Yourself: Here is a filterable Excel Document that shows you your PBIS points for each week in October and November.

  • Please check your PLC and make sure that your points are similar to your PLC members. Co-Teachers, your points added together should be similar to your PLC members if you split points duty.
    • Filter by Academic Content, or even by Teacher names in the Filter options
  • All teachers who are responsible for a student roster should give at least a few PBIS points a week because every teacher who sees students has a HR and/or class.

Please remember that PBIS points are one of our ways to reward students for meeting behavior expectations. As students spend their points at the PBIS Store, they are paying a lot of attention to which teachers give points and which teachers do not. Prioritize your relationships with students in this very visible quantitative fashion.

This week's staff spotlight features Larry Webb our new CTAE/Construction teacher, whose passion for education and dedication to student success have already made a significant impact in our Connections Department. With a strong commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and hands-on learning environment, he empowers students to explore real-world skills. His enthusiasm for teaching and ability to connect with students ensures that learners feel valued. It also doesn’t hurt that he is a huge Dawg fan and is willing to take on extra duties and responsibilities as needed!
