Dear D300 Families,

On Tuesday, November 3, District 300 voters will determine the outcome of a bond referendum that would provide funding to help improve school buildings and other facilities across the district.

To help families understand what is proposed for their child’s current school and the schools within the district that their child may attend next, we have created a Proposed Projects Guide for each D300 school. Each two-sided guide outlines the projects that would receive funding if the bond referendum is approved.

Locate the Proposed Project Guide for your child’s school at d300.org/ProposedProjects.

Each guide includes:

Proposed projects at your child’s school.
Proposed projects at the schools your child may attend next.
Details about the proposed district-wide Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center, where students from all three D300 high schools could take hands-on, career-focused courses while staying enrolled at their home high school.
A letter from Superintendent Dr. Martina Smith that explains why the referendum is being considered.
