Policies to Know Policies to Know

WISD Dress Code

Click the link below to access the Student Dress Code for the 2025-2026 school year. Please remember that students in violation of the dress code will be given the opportunity to correct the problem at school and return to the classroom. If the problem cannot be corrected at school, the administrator will work with the student and parent to obtain an acceptable change of clothing for the student in a way that minimizes loss of instructional time. Violation of student dress code may result in a written referral for documentation purposes.

Lunch Deliveries

Wylie High School will not accept food/drinks delivered to students from any food delivery service at any time during the school day. Food may be delivered by a parent/guardian and only during lunch time. The parent/guardian must complete a Lunch Drop Off form when dropping off lunch for their student. Please try to have lunch dropped off prior to their lunch period as the lunch delivery cart is wheeled into the cafeteria when lunch begins. Food delivery services will be denied access to drop off food and the delivery will be refused.

Students will not be excused from class to pick up their lunch.

Parking Lot

Parking Tags

Any student that has a driver's license and plans on utilizing the school parking lot during school hours must register their vehicle and purchase a parking tag. The purchased parking tag can be utilized until the student graduates from Wylie High School.

Students will register their vehicle with the front office and hang a parking tag on their rear-view mirror. If a student brings a different vehicle, they must notify the office of the license plate number when they arrive at school. Failure to display and/or register a guest vehicle may result in disciplinary protocol and fines. As students earn their license, they can register and buy their parking tag.

Parking tags are $5. You may register your vehicle using the link below. Parking tags will be available for purchase (cash/check) at the Wylie High Welcome.

Vehicle Registration
Pay and pick up your tag at the Wylie High Welcome or in the front office.

Student Parking

During school hours students can park in the designated area pictured below.

Loitering

Loitering in the parking lot prior to the school day beginning and/or during school hours will NOT be allowed. Once a student arrives at school, they are to go into the building until the morning bell rings. WHS Staff will be monitoring the parking lot to ensure students leave their vehicle and enter the school building.

Senior Parking Spots

Seniors have the opportunity to reserve and purchase a parking spot through Project Graduation.
