GTA8 Program Celebration TOMORROW!

Tomorrow, Thursday, May 21st, is the GTA8 Program Celebration from 4:30-5:30 pm after school. This is a special time for our students, who committed to the GTA from all over the district and made friends from all corners of FBISD, to socialize, smile, and celebrate with their classmates before separating as they move on to high school. There will be plenty of pizza and snacks, a photo booth, music, and slide show to boot.

AND, we’ve ordered enough pizza for every 8th grader in the GTA, so please do everything you can to make arrangements for your child to stay after school tomorrow and celebrate with his/her GTA buddies. Let no pizza go to waste! 😊 As an after school event, we know not everyone will be able to attend, but if you work together as a GTA community, we are hopeful that the vast majority will be able to stay.

Students should remain in their 7th period class until SECOND FLIGHT is announced. Even if they have to get an instrument, they should wait until SECOND FLIGHT is announced before leaving the classroom.

Once dismissed at SECOND FLIGHT, students should report to the COMMONS. If they have to get an instrument, they should go get it and then report to the COMMONS.

If you are able to volunteer to help manage and chaperone this event, please sign up below. Parents are needed to help monitor students after school, set up, serve pizza, supervise students during the event, and clean up. You can help make this a special occasion for our GTA8 students!
