A Message from Mrs. Belcher:
Stewart families,
Happy Red Ribbon Week! We are excited to discuss making healthy, life-long choices with our students this week. We will be celebrating each day with a spirit day as we pledge to be drug free. Be sure to check out the flyer below for all the details.
This Friday is our Annual Storybook Character Parade. Our students in grades K-4 will participate in the parade. We invite families and community members to come enjoy the parade. Please see below for more details.
We are looking forward to our students celebrating our Veterans on November 11th. There are several ways students can be involved. Be sure to read the details below!
School attendance directly correlates to student success! Please make every effort to have your child at school each day, on time, and for the full duration of the school day. Instruction begins at 7:55 a.m. If your student is not inside the building by 7:55 a.m., please park, walk your child inside, and sign your child in for the day. Please do not drop your child off in front of the school after 7:55 a.m. as this is a safety concern. As a friendly reminder, students must be present at least 90% of the school year. Missed instructional minutes due to tardies or early dismissals add up to missed instructional days. Our instructional day goes goes from 7:55 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Please see our attendance policy linked as a button at the bottom of this newsletter for more information. Thank you for partnering with us to maximize our instructional day and to help your student grow!
Have a great week,
Kristen Belcher, Principal

Safety First: Reminders for All Drivers
Dear Families,
Please remember that our school zone is a device-free, slow-speed area. As you drop off or pick up your child, stay alert, patient, and focused on the road. Speeding, distracted driving, or rushing through crosswalks can put children and staff at serious risk.
Let’s work together to keep every student safe. Drive slowly, stay attentive, and help us make our school a safe place for everyone! Thank you for your care and cooperation!
