1st Annual 180° Awards
At Oshkosh North, we have begun a new awards ceremony to recognize our students who accomplish significant academic growth. The purpose is to recognize those students who have made a “180° turn” by showing at least 0.75 growth on their GPA since last Spring. We want these students to realize that their growth is worth celebrating and encourage them to continue down a positive path.
This year’s 180° Awards will be held on February 5, 2026 at 6:30pm in the Auditorium. During this event, we will celebrate these students’ progress by presenting awards, offering words of encouragement, and featuring a keynote speech from Trina Woldt, Director of Leadership Oshkosh, to inspire both students and families. Our goal is to reinforce their positive momentum and to emphasize that their hard work is recognized and valued

2026/27 Class Scheduling
During the week of January 19th, students will receive important scheduling information for the 2026-2027 school year. Students will have Homeroom from Wednesday, January 21st, to Friday, January 23rd, to watch an important scheduling video and complete their course request form.
During this scheduling video, counselors will provide an overview of the graduation requirements, course sequencing, as well as general admission requirements for four-year colleges/universities and technical colleges. Students will also learn how to utilize the updated course guide for the 2026-27 school year. All students will receive a paper copy of a course request sheet for their respective grade levels. If your child has a Special Education or ESOL case manager, they may have already begun or completed the scheduling process.
Please review and complete this course request sheet with your student and discuss the course options that you think will be the best fit for them for next year. We encourage you to discuss the potential workload of the courses, the time your student is willing to spend on school work outside of the school day, and other obligations your student has outside of school. Please do NOT enter course requests into Infinite Campus.
Students will input their course requests into Infinite Campus the week of January 26th during their English course on the following days:
Communities: Monday, January 26, 2026
Juniors: Tuesday, January 27, 2026
Sophomores: Wednesday, January 28, 2026
Freshmen: Thursday, January 29, 2026
For your convenience, there is a scheduling website, which explains the scheduling specifics for each grade level. Here is the link to the 2026-2027 North Scheduling website.

🏆 Athletic Hall of Fame Inductions ~ Libby Neveau and Sydney Supple
At halftime of the AW @ ON Varsity Girls Basketball game on Friday, January 9 (approximately 7:30–7:45 p.m.), North will proudly induct Libby Neveau and Sydney Supple into the Athletic Hall of Fame.
Both 2019 North graduates were standout softball teammates for four seasons, helping lead teams to an incredible 104–10 record, three FVA titles, three state tournament appearances, and an unforgettable 31–0 undefeated season capped by the first girls team state championship in North history.
Libby continued her success at Winona State University, where she became one of the program’s all-time home run leaders, and she is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Belmont University in Nashville.
Sydney went on to a stellar Division I career at Northwestern University, earning Big Ten championships and competing in the 2022 Women’s College World Series. She now works professionally in broadcasting with ESPN and the Big Ten Network.
Please join us as we celebrate and honor Libby Neveau and Sydney Supple with their induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame.

School Choice
School Choice/OOA Applications to Attend Another School IN the Oshkosh District
Given our school options, we're transparent that few school choice / out-of-attendance area (OOA) requests will be approved. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be denied due to capacity constraints, even if the requested school has open seats. This is to maintain our formula-based staffing model and to ensure financial responsibility.
The School Choice/OOA request process for enrolled students for the upcoming school year is open as follows. Please note: The High School timeline has changed due to student scheduling.
High School - December 1 - January 12
Middle School - April 1 - August 1
Elementary School - April 1 - August 1
Application Review
High School - February
Middle School - Mid-August
Elementary School - Mid-August
Families with a current approved School Choice/OOA do NOT need to reapply UNLESS:
Their child is moving to a new school level (e.g., elementary to middle school)
To make a School Choice/OOA request, the student must already be enrolled in the Oshkosh School District.
If the student will be new to the district in the upcoming year, they cannot submit a School Choice/OOA request until the general enrollment period opens on April 1.
Only parents/guardians who have approved guardianship of a student in Infinite Campus are able to submit a School Choice/OOA request.
If approved, the responsibility for transporting the student to and from the out-of-attendance area school rests entirely with the parent/guardian of a student under 18, or the student if aged 18 and over.
Priority is given to requests involving siblings at the desired school and students with specialized needs that can't be met at their home school.
Applications will only be denied if there is insufficient capacity at the requested school, if the student's special education needs cannot be accommodated, or if there are attendance concerns.
High School students must sign an attendance contract at the approved school.
Approval of a School Choice/OOA request is only guaranteed for one year, and continuation of the approval is reviewed each year and may be denied based on the upcoming year’s actual enrollment.
To make a request to attend an out-of-attendance area school (a school different than the student’s designated home school), please follow the instructions below.
1. Log in to Infinite Campus
To begin the process, log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. You can access Infinite Campus through the school district's website or by visiting oshkoshwi.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/oshkosh.jsp2. Navigate to the School Choice Option
- Once logged in, click on the "More" menu in the left-hand navigation.
- Select the "School Choice" option from the menu.
3. Select the school(s) your are requesting
4. Submit the Out-of-Attendance Area Request

Public School Open Enrollment to Other School Districts
The open enrollment application period for the 2026–27 school year runs from February 2 to April 30, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted for any reason.
Applications due by 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2026
Wisconsin’s inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend school districts other than the one in which they live.
Students in 4-year-old Kindergarten through Grade 12 may apply to participate in open enrollment. Parents should contact their resident school districts to determine if their preschool-aged children qualify for open enrollment.
Application Options
1. Online (recommended):
Apply at https://dpi.wi.gov/open-enrollment (accessible beginning February 2, 2026).
2. Paper Application:
Paper applications may be obtained from the Student Information Services Manager at 215 South Eagle Street. Completed applications must be delivered to the nonresident school district—hand-delivery is strongly recommended.
Reminders
Dress Code
- Students may NOT wear blankets or other coverings during the school day. This includes during passing time, lunch, and study hall. Blankets are not permitted and must be left at home.
- Students may NOT wear bandanas to school, or have bandanas tied around their wrists, ankles, or otherwise displayed in any way.
