From Administration
Hello Cecil Manor Families!
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer. I also hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. We have been very busy this summer with replacing the HVAC system at Cecil Manor and getting classrooms cleaned and prepared for the students. Our skilled and devoted staff is already planning and preparing for your child(ren). Our enthusiastic office team is registering new families and ordering needed materials. Our hard working custodians have spent the summer thoroughly cleaning the facility. And, our much-appreciated PTO is gearing up to welcome families and offer exciting events and programs. We are excited to get the 26-27 school year under way, but we hope all families are getting time to rest and enjoy time together this summer. The first day of school for students is Monday, August 31, 2026.
As we enter a new school year, we want to remind families of Cecil Manor's mission and vision:
MISSION: Cecil Manor Elementary School aims to build strong and positive relationships to equitably educate, inform, and inspire each child in a safe space; fostering academic excellence and emotional wellness. We are a community school that will be open to change and rely on communication and our commitment to students to continue to forge a path of success for all students.
VISION: Cecil Manor is dedicated to building and sustaining meaningful relationships to maximize student growth and potential.
Once again, I want to emphasize the importance of maintaining a strong partnership between parents and school staff. We cannot achieve our mission of serving our students through positive relationships as a safe, collaborative community without you. Maintaining continuous and open communication about academic goals and appropriate student behavior sends a strong message to our children. Our message focuses on creating a community consisting of both parents and school staff having high expectations for student success and maintaining a positive learning environment.
