PRIORITY NUMBER ONE: Literacy

SJUSD continues to narrow our focus on literacy with the goal to, "create literate students at each grade level through individualized supports with a focus on proficiency by grade 3." One piece of the solution is a voluntary teacher training, LETRS. Teachers have many positive comments about the training and our students are reaping the benefits! We are blessed to have a team of dedicated teachers and support staff that will keep learning and keep working until we reach the goal. Literacy. The ability to read and write.
