PCSD School Board Named Exemplary Governance Team
Seventh Consecutive Year!
The Paulding County Board of Education is proud to announce it has earned the Georgia School Boards Association’s (GSBA) 2026 Exemplary Governance Team recognition for the seventh consecutive year. Board members will be presented with the honor at GSBA’s annual conference December 3-4 at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta.
According to GSBA, the Governance Team Recognition is designed to showcase best practices in school governance and leadership. The Exemplary honor is the highest level of recognition.
“This recognition is a reflection of our board’s ongoing commitment to strong leadership and effective governance, and I am honored that the Georgia School Boards Association has once again acknowledged those efforts,” said PCSD Board Chair Jeff Fuller. “Everything we do is centered on supporting student achievement and creating opportunities for success. We value the high standards established by GSBA and appreciate the framework it provides for boards striving to lead with excellence. As a board, we take seriously our responsibility to provide sound financial oversight and ensure the highest quality educational experience for our students. Serving on the school board requires dedication, hard work, and a deep commitment to our community. I am grateful to my fellow board members for their service and proud to celebrate this distinction with them for the seventh year in a row.”
PEACH Education Tax Credit - Donate Before 12/31

Georgia's PEACH Education Tax Credit provides taxpayers with a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your state income taxes, meaning you are able to apply your tax dollars to support innovation in the Paulding County School District. Your tax dollars will go directly to support amazing programs such as college and career readiness courses at the Paulding County College and Career Academy. See the attached flyer for the simple steps on how you can direct your tax dollars to help support education in Paulding County.
YOU MUST APPLY BY DECEMBER 31, 2026 TO CLAIM THE CREDIT WHEN FILING IN 2027.
