Pursuing the Joy of Salvation, Knowledge, Leadership, and Community Pursuing the Joy of Salvation, Knowledge, Leadership, and Community

Welcome to KAES!

It is my pleasure to introduce myself as the principal of KAES. My name is Todd Coulter and I am happy to be serving each of our students' families this year. This is my ninth year serving KAES as principal. While I have met many of you, I look forward to getting to meet those I haven't yet met and getting to know every one of you better this year.

It has been my prayer that you and your family will find KAES a place where you belong. On behalf of our teachers and staff we are here to serve you and your family. If you are not sure of policies, rules or procedures, please reach out to us in the office. If you have questions about the classroom our teachers are available before and after school.

Thank you for choosing KAES for your children. I look forward to a great school year full of fun, joy and learning.

Sincerely

Todd Coulter

Accounts Accounts

We are changing our accounting software to offer you better service. However, because of this change, we cannot provide statements for August. Each family is still accountable for paying their August tuition. If you need to be reminded of your tuition amount, we can give you that information in the office. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

After School Care (ASC) After School Care (ASC)

KAES provides After School Care (ASC) as a service to all KAES families. If you find yourself unable to pick up your child right away, there is no need to worry. After dismissal each day your child's classroom teacher will take any students not picked up to ASC. They will be able to play in the gym and in the preschool classroom until you can pick them up. We even have a snack time included. Cost is $5 for the first hour and $2 for each additional hour, pro-rated every 15 minutes.

Jean-a-form Jean-a-form

Remember on Mondays students can wear a KAES school t-shirt and jeans with no rips. A t-shirt will be provided in a few weeks for students to wear. If you are new and do not have other KAES shirts check with the office to see if we may have a previous year's shirt.

Soccer Tryouts Soccer Tryouts

Elementary Soccer

The Elementary Soccer tryouts will be this coming Monday and Wednesday, August 19 and 21, from 6 to 7:30 pm. Tryouts are open to all 4th, 5th, and 6th graders that maintain a 70% GPA in all classes. We realize that it is still very hot. We plan to watch our participants very closely for heat-related illnesses. In addition, we are planning to limit the time outside by moving the players between the soccer field and the gym for different drills.

Please NO CLEATS! As stated we will move in and out of the gym, so we are asking all participants to wear good tennis shoes and save the cleats for another day. If your child plans to try out, be sure they are drinking plenty of water over the weekend so they will be properly hydrated. Please send a water bottle with them to the tryouts. We ask that all students trying out, attend both tryouts. If you cannot be at both tryouts, please let me or coach Sellers know.
