Principal's Corner
Dear Hirsch Hawk Parents and Guardians,
I am excited to share that our first week of state testing was a huge success! Our 3rd–5th grade students approached the Reading portion of the assessment with focus, determination, and confidence. We are so proud of the effort they put forth and the way they represented our campus.
As we move forward, we are gearing up for our next round of assessments. Our 5th grade students will take the Science assessment this Thursday, and students in 3rd–5th grade will take the Math assessment next week. We know our students are ready, and we are confident that all of their hard work and preparation will shine through.
Parents, your support during this time makes all the difference. Please continue to motivate your child and help set a positive and encouraging tone at home. A good night’s rest, a healthy breakfast, and reassuring words can go a long way in helping students feel calm and confident.
This year, our theme has been Unlocking the Magic Within, and we are truly seeing that magic come to life. The magic is not just in academic growth, but in the incredible ways your children have grown as individuals—learning to make new friends, showing kindness to others, sharing, demonstrating perseverance, building confidence, taking responsibility, and showing respect. These character traits matter just as much as any test score.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for supporting your child every step of the way. Together, we are helping our students grow not only as learners, but as leaders.
With pride and appreciation,
Principal Patterson
