Families- we need your help!!

We have had some issues in our boys and girls restrooms for the last couple of weeks. Please help us out and have a conversation as a family about appropriate restroom behaviors. We would appreciate if you could remind your children of the following things:

1. All bodily waste goes in the toilet and must be flushed! It does not belong on the floor, in the urinals, or any where around the toilet! Please ask them to flush all bodily waste and toilet paper down the toilet when they are finished.

2. Toilet paper is not a toy and bathrooms are not a place to play! We have had to stop allowing students to go to the restroom on their own and classes must go together because we are not respecting the space when we go on our own.

3. We never write on the walls in our restrooms!

We really appreciate your support with this issue! Our custodial team is the best in town and, please help us remind our students about the importance of taking care of our school and respecting our space!

Mental Health Services Opt-in

"Huntsville City Schools offers mental health services for your child(ren) in a variety of ways. In compliance with Alabama law, parents and/or guardians must opt-in for their children to receive mental health services each school year – please note that mental health includes typical school guidance services. You may choose for your child to receive some or all of the available services. Without this form, most mental health and guidance services will not be provided to your child unless there is an imminent threat to the health of the student or others or when your child meets with guidance counselors solely related to course selection, course registration, or similar activities."

Hello Friend of AAA/Valued Community Partner,

The Academy for Academics and Arts Middle School is proud to present our 2023-2024 season! These productions feature approximately 90 middle school students as cast members and technical crew. The Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) recognizes individual schools that demonstrate outstanding achievement in their efforts to provide theatre access and education to all students. As a Title 1 Magnet School, we are fortunate to be able to provide this inclusive quality theatre experience to these students and the community! Our students are thriving both academically and in the arts because of supporters like you! We are asking for your support as a sponsor/contributor. No amount is too great or small. Will you help?
