If you could participate in any sport that is part of the Winter Olyimpics, what would it be? For me, skeleton. I love the idea of flying fast down the ice. Also, I learned this past week that it is the safest of the three ice sliding sports. 🙂

As a result of the upcoming One School, One Book event and the Friday activities that go along with it, we will be adjusting our Community Lunch schedule.

Community Lunch will take place on the following dates:

  • March 13, 2026 (12:30–1:00 p.m.)

  • April 10, 2026 (12:30–1:00 p.m.)

Due to today’s early dismissal, we will not be able to finalize the preparations for our One School, One Book reveal. To ensure the event is as exciting and special as possible for our students, we will use Monday, March 2 to complete the display that will truly wow them. The book reveal will now be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Thank you for your understanding as we work to make this a memorable experience for everyone!

Enjoy the fresh snow,

In January, students in grades 1–4 completed the winter session of the NWEA assessment. Children took sections in math, language, and reading.

NWEA (Measures of Academic Progress, or MAP) is a computer-based assessment designed to measure individual student growth over time. The questions adjust in difficulty based on each student’s responses, helping to identify current skill levels and areas for growth. The results provide teachers with valuable information to guide instruction and better meet each child’s needs.

NWEA results are being sent home today, Friday, 2/13/26. Please take a few moments to review your child’s report. If you have any questions or would like more information about your child’s performance, we encourage you to reach out directly to your classroom teacher.

Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting your child’s learning.

Mrs. Harris' PE = Winter Olympics

This week we have been learning about the different sports at the Winter Olympics! We had our very own TES Winter Olympics with the students taking part in events such as curling, speed skating, team bobsled, mogul skiing, skeleton/luge, a torch run relay and more! I was so proud of the effort, teamwork, kindness, and good sportsmanship on display this week! Gold medals all around!!
