T - 1 Week
Dear Ross Community,
Reporting to you live this week from the San Francisco Bay Area, where I have enjoyed five consecutive sunny and mild days--I refuse to believe I grew up like this, because it feels incredibly foreign 😆. I expect my return to the swamp on Thursday afternoon to be a little harsh--meanwhile, however, you will be enjoying a great event, you lucky duck: the End of the Year Picnic, of course, drowning your humid woes in some super righteous shaved ice and amazing Ross camaraderie! You still have a chance to volunteer or bring something along--sign up here.
We are at T - 1 week, and we have the usual end of year updates for you: our classrooms lineup and new Room Parents for SY25-26, updated info about registering for before and after care, and a reminder about grabbing a yearbook if you haven't yet. Have a great last week of school, Road Runners!
-Aimee

Black-Footed Ferret Cam
Move over, pandas. The Black-Footed Ferret Cam is live: "Carnivore keepers at the Smithsonian’s Conservation Biology Institute (SCBI) in Front Royal, Virginia welcomed a litter of endangered black-footed ferrets last week. Three-year-old female Aristides gave birth to eight kits on May 28. Watch Aristides and her kits progress live on the black-footed ferret cam!"
