Clio Area Schools Hall of Fame- Class of 2025
Clio Area Schools is proud to announce the Hall of Fame Class of 2025, honoring a distinguished group of former athletes, former staff members, community members, and teams whose accomplishments and commitment have had a lasting impact on the Clio community.
The Clio Area Schools Hall of Fame was established in 2024, when the district inducted its first class of honorees. The Hall of Fame recognizes individuals and teams who exemplify excellence, leadership, service, and Mustang pride—both on and off the field. This second class of inductees reflects the rich tradition of Clio athletics and the strong community support that continues to shape generations of students.
Please keep an eye on our website (clioathletics.org) and the Clio Area Schools/Clio Athletics Facebook pages for individual biographies on all the Class of 2025 inductees!

Attendance Policy Reminder
Clio Athletics reminds all student-athletes and families of the district’s attendance expectations for participation in practices and competitions. In order to compete, athletes must be in school for the full day. If a student is ill and must stay home from school, they are also expected to remain home from athletic activities that day.
Certain absences do not count against eligibility, including bereavement, approved field trips, and medical appointments. However, communication and proper documentation are required. Athletes who know they will be absent should notify the athletic office prior to the absence and submit the appropriate paperwork to the attendance office afterward.
The district also recognizes that emergencies and unexpected situations may occur, such as transportation issues or delays. In these cases, athletes should contact the athletic office as soon as possible, either before leaving school or upon arrival.
Above all, Clio Athletics emphasizes that students are students first and athletes second. Regular school attendance is essential, and academic responsibility and athletic commitment go hand in hand.

Check Your Current Student Central Account
If your athlete's physical in Student Central says "PENDING STAFF APPROVAL" for more than 48 hours, please login and make sure you and your student are connected to the correct school district. We have found that families are inadvertently connecting their accounts to Clio Elem/Middle in South Carolina during set up. Accounts that are not connected to our district will show incorrect forms and are not visible to athletic department staff. See the photo below for an example of the what forms should be visible to you if you are connected to the correct district.
If you find you are connected to the wrong school district, please edit the parent and student accounts so that you are linked to Clio MS/HS (CLIO, MI). This will allow staff to approve the uploaded physical.

Queen of Hearts Begins February 4th!
Clio Athletic Boosters are excited to announce the launch of the Clio Mustangs Queen of Hearts Progressive Raffle. This 16-week event offers community members a chance to win a growing jackpot while directly supporting Clio Mustangs Athletics.
The raffle kicks off on Wednesday, February 4, with drawings held every Wednesday at 7 pm at Black Horse Tavern on Saginaw St., in Clio. Tickets are priced at $2 each.
