Class of 2026 January Student of the Month - Sofia Latapie
Congratulations to Sofia Latapie, Great Oak High School January Student of the Month.
Sofia was selected by Great Oak High School for representing areas of S.P.I.R.I.T.
What is the mission of the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month Program?
MISSION To bring the community together to honor and praise our local high school seniors for demonstrating character, integrity, love of learning, involvement in school activities, athletics, and community service. Or the ability to overcome challenging life circumstances without compromising their education. The “heartbeat” of Student of the Month is the student who makes a difference in their home, school and community with sincerity and passion. They must be college or trade-school-bound.
Staff of the Week - Mrs. Gerfen
This week, WSB would like to nominate Mrs. Gerfen as the Staff of the Week.
Mrs. Gerfen is a Great Oak physical education teacher, yoga teacher, and our remarkable girls’ field hockey coach. She is sweet, caring, and always makes her students feel comfortable and welcome.
