A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
It was great seeing you all at the concert last Friday. Ms. Reed and Ms. Michaud did a fantastic job preparing the students. It was also nice to be able to recognize retiring Chief Skroski; I'm so happy his family was able to join us.
We are beginning to wrap things up, and are looking forward to an exciting Spirit Week, starting on Monday.
This year, as is tradition, the fifth-grade students planned field day. This year, the theme is the Olympics. Students will recreate events that are in the Olympics. Games will be run by the 5th graders and will include: 50-meter dash, hurdles, then climbing, basketball, breaking, soccer, shooting, and field hockey.
Thank you to the PTA for providing popsicles for our snack!
Finally, don't forget our Final Awards Assembly on Friday, June 14th at 11AM.
REMINDERS
Phippsburg's Pre-K's last day is Tuesday, June 11th. Yearbooks will be distributed Monday, June 10th, to those who ordered them. We look forward to seeing you next year!
Our K-5 last day is Friday, June 14th. The 3rd trimester awards assembly will start at 11AM. Bagged lunches will be available for students. Students will be dismissed at 12:00PM, so buses will be arriving 3 hours earlier than usual (likely earlier due to many students being picked up from school). K-5 yearbooks will be handed out to students June 13th.
Please remember to check Lost and Found! Any unclaimed items will be donated after the last day of school.
If you participate in the program, please turn in any Hannaford Helps Schools Dollars, as this year's program ended June 1st. We are registered at the Topsham Hannaford. Thank you for your support.
GREAT START CONCLUDES FOR YEAR
June 5th was the final Great Start until October. June 12th will be a Late Start Wednesday; school starts at 9:25AM. Dropoff will be 9:20AM. We extend a HUGE Thank You to all the wonderful volunteers who helped make PES Great Starts possible this year: Josh Anderson, Alina Benfield, Patty Boutilier, Lindsay DeBery, Shana Ferrara, Heidi Genthner, Lauren Spencer, and Callie Wells. We couldn't do it without you!
LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE
This is a reminder to bring ALL your library books back tomorrow. Lost/Missing book fees will be issued. This will give families time to locate or replace missing books before school ends.

Tuesday, July 16th at 7:45PM. We invite Phippsburg families to a FREE family movie night at Meadowbrook Campground to see the latest Inside Out movie (movie subject to change due to availability) and enjoy free drinks and snacks.
