Richland Raiders Newsletter

Hello Raider Nation!

It’s been another incredible week in Raider Nation! Our girls water polo team captured the first bi-district championship in program history on Monday night, and our tennis team continued its outstanding season by winning both the bi-district and area championships. Our orchestra delivered an incredible fall concert, and our choir had an amazing showing at the TMEA Region 24 Choir Auditions, with 24 students earning spots in the all-region choirs and 10 Raiders advancing to the next round of auditions.

Our volleyball team continued its impressive district run with sweeps of Panther Creek and The Colony. They'll host Denton High tomorrow night here at Richland. Meanwhile, our football team heads to Frisco tonight to take on Emerson at Kuykendall Stadium, with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m.

As we head into Fall Break, I hope everyone enjoys a chance to rest, recharge, and spend time with family and friends. When we return next week, we'll jump right into Homecoming festivities, one of the most exciting weeks of the year. We can't wait to celebrate with our students, staff, and community as we continue building traditions that make Richland such a special place.

It's a great time to be a Richland Raider!
