Below please find information on picture day! We will be taking student pictures all-day on August, 11th. You can stop by Wild Rose any time from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, in the community room, to get your child's picture taken. This will hopefully avoid the large lines and back-up we have had in previous years. If you arrive between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm you will only be there to take the picture as staff will be in professional development and learning to prepare and kick off the new school year. You will be able to get your picture during the welcome back time from 4:00 to 6:00 PM as well, however it will also be the opportunity to go to your child's classroom and meet the teacher prior to opening day! We hope many will take advantage of pictures outside of the welcome back timing to allow for a smooth experience for all!

We continue to have a lot of projects to be completed: air conditioning, painting, repaving, sound panels in the music room, new entry badge system for staff, new stairs and railings will be put in our front at door 23, playground is almost complete and WOW is it awesome!! We are excited to share the playground expectations on our new and amazing equipment!

The new book vending machine is being delivered next week!! YAHOO! Our PTO has purchased a book vending machine for every student to recieved their birthday book and incentive books throughout the year!!

In the coming weeks I will share our Wild Rose Staff for the 2025-2026 School year. I am very excited to share the addition of our Assistant Principal Mrs. Kara Salto. Mrs. Salto will be working at both Wild Rose and Ferson Creek. Mrs. Salto will be introducing herself to the Wild Rose community as school begins. Class Assignments

Teacher assignments will be available on Friday, August 1st via Home Access Center (HAC). Please know classroom assignments can be subject to change until the first day of school.

In anticipation of finding out your child’s classroom teacher on August 1st, please make sure you are registered on the Home Access Center (HAC). If you previously registered, your login names and passwords have not changed, and you do not need to re-register. If you are new or have not previously registered you can set up your account following the steps on the pdf below.

All students and families are invited to drop off school supplies and to meet classroom teachers on Monday, August 11th from 4:00-6:00 pm.

I encourage you to follow the schedule below. This will assist us in meeting your needs in a timely manner and should cut down on the crowds in classrooms, as well as congestion in our parking lot and around the building. However, please understand you are welcome to come anytime between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm if you have a scheduling conflict.

For our families that are new to Wild Rose, staff members will be offering guided tours of the building, where they can answer any questions you may have.

• 4:00-5:00 pm - Last names beginning with A - I

• 4:30-5:30 pm - Last names beginning with J - Q

• 5:00-6:00 pm - Last names beginning with R - Z

We are really hoping the extended picture time is helpful and people take advantage of coming and getting pictures outside of the welcome back time. Pictures are in the community room. Please enter at door 23.

Transportation route information for elementary school students will be available online August 6th. When available, parents may log in to the VersaTrans e-Link via the included site -

https://district.d303.org/tools/bus-routes using their Home Access Center (HAC) login credentials. When logging in, please do not check the Authenticate using Network Credentials box.

Some families were not registered or may not have been able to come to our Kindergarten welcome in the spring time. We will be holding a meet and greet on Wednesday, July 30th from 3:00 to 3:30 PM for any of the kindergarten families that were not able to make our May date. This is an information session for you and your incoming kindergarten child. Please join us on Wednesday, July 30th at 3:00 PM.

Incoming Kindergarteners

Dear Incoming Kindergarten Parents:

The health office is excited to welcome your incoming kindergartener to Wild Rose. A part of the required paperwork for kindergarten includes: proof of required immunizations, up to date physical examination, eye examination, and dental examination. Immunizations and physical examinations are due by the first day of school (8/13/2025), the vision exam is due by 10/15/2025, and the dental exam is due by 5/15/2025. Thinking ahead to next school year, if your child had medication or physician orders or action plans in the health office, your child will need a new form completed for the 2025-26 school year. Dear Wild Rose Elementary Parents,

We're thrilled to share some exciting news about our school grounds! This summer, our beloved playground will be undergoing a complete transformation. We're getting a brand-new, state-of-the-art playground that will provide our students with even more opportunities for fun, fitness, and imaginative play.

To make this exciting upgrade happen, the current playground will be closed for construction throughout the summer months. This means that the playground will not be accessible to the public during this time.

We understand that the playground is a popular spot for our students and families during summer break, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to create this wonderful new space for our children.

We anticipate that construction will be completed by the start of the next school year, and we can't wait to unveil the fantastic new playground to our students when they return. We are confident that it will be a valuable addition to our school and a source of joy for years to come.
