Notes from the Office
A Great Start to the 2026 - 2027 School Year!
Dear Eggert Families,
It's hard to believe that we are already a week and a half into the 2026 - 2027 school year! It has been wonderful seeing our students' smiling faces each morning as they enter our building and seeing them settle into their routines. We are off to a great start!
We want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work through our new dismissal procedures. We know the process has taken some extra time, and we appreciate your flexibility as everyone learns the new routines. We have already seen improvements, and know it will continue to get smoother each day. As a reminder, please make sure you stay in your vehicle and let a staff member load your child into the passenger side of your car.
We truly appreciate your continued support and partnership as we work together to make this a wonderful school year for all of our students. Thank you for helping us make Eggert such a special place to learn and grow!
Enjoy your weekend,
Mrs. Kubera
Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
Arrival
Please do not pull into the parking lot until 9:05 a.m. Staff are arriving from other buildings and need access to parking spots.
Follow the directions of our staff members directing traffic.
Remain in your car and follow the loop around the parking lot. Continue to pull forward as directed—staff will assist your child in getting out of the car.
Please make sure you child is ready with their belongings and unbuckled when the Eggert Staff Member comes to your car.
Dismissal
Please ensure your car tag is visible.
Follow the directions of our staff members directing traffic.
Remain in your car and follow the loop around the parking lot. Continue to pull forward as directed—staff will walk students to cars
Please make sure to stay in your vehicle until a staff member loads your child into the passenger side of your backseat.
Notes & Parent Portal
If your child will be picked up, please make sure this is entered in the parent portal or send a written note with your child.
Pick-up notes from last year do not carry over into this school year.
No Elementary Parking Lot Access for Pick-Up Before 2:55pm
For the safety of all students and staff, our school parking lots will remain closed to vehicles arriving for dismissal pick-up until 2:55 p.m.
Keeping the lots clear during the school day allows emergency vehicles to access our buildings quickly if needed and helps us to maintain a safe, and orderly environment for everyone.
We appreciate your cooperation and support in keeping our school campuses safe and accessible.
🩺 Nurse Info - Medication Drop-Off
Mrs. Rebecca Banks, our school nurse, will be available during Open House until 6:00pm. If your child requires medication at school, please bring all medications, doctor’s notes, and required forms with you.
Important: Medications must be dropped off by an adult. They cannot be sent in with your child once school begins.
If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Banks at 716-209-6216 or via email at rbanks@opschools.org. Thank you for helping us ensure a safe and smooth start to the year!
