Leadership Message
As Thanksgiving approaches, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of our school families.
We are truly thankful for the trust you place in us every day, and for the privilege of watching your children learn, grow, and bring their unique energy to our classrooms. The opportunity to spend our days with them—guiding their learning, sharing in their laughter, and celebrating their successes—is a gift our entire staff deeply appreciates.
Thank you for your ongoing support, partnership, and dedication to our school community. We hope this long weekend provides a wonderful chance for you to relax, make special memories, and enjoy quality time together.
Wishing you and your family a warm, restful, and Happy Thanksgiving!
Warmly,
Mrs. Erin Croft (Principal) & Mrs. Jennifer Maynard (Assistant Principal)

Students helping over the lunch hour
Our Grade 4 students are stepping up and shining as student leaders! During lunch, they’ve been doing an amazing job helping out in the front office—answering phones, assisting visitors, and picking up essential leadership skills along the way. We are so proud of their responsibility and enthusiasm! 👏📚
Our wonderful student assistants are helping manage the office during their lunch shift, we kindly ask parents to avoid calling the office or trying to reach Mrs. Potter or school administration between 11:35 AM and 12:15 PM.
If you need to get in touch, please call before 11:35 AM or after 12:15 PM so we can give you our full attention. Thank you for supporting our young leaders and helping our days run smoothly!

Faith Formation
This week we celebrated our teaching staff. Monday, October 5 was World Teachers Day. Our dedicated teachers transform their classrooms into safe, accepting and caring spaces where students feel valued, known, and loved—reflecting God’s love in a practical, daily way.
Learners and Learning
This week, we celebrate the love of reading. Students and staff enjoyed dressing up as their favorite book character!
Systematic Wellness
Sometimes the best memories and learning comes from field trips. Some of our classes have embarked on out of school field trips. Featured this week, are our grade 1 classes who enjoyed Prairie Gardens!
Operational Stewardship
We are thankful for all the guest readers who took time out of their week to come and read to our students. A special thank you to our Superintendent Mr. Paul Corrigan, Assistant Superintendents Mr. Brett Cox and Ms. Christina Mackinnon, Director of Operational Improvement, Mr. Rob Stecyk, Secretary Treasurer, Mr. Mauricio Reyes, facility director, Mr. Brent Gillis and one of our school trustees, Mr. Al Stewart. We also had a visit from the Fort Saskatchewan Fire Department, several parents, grandparents and even a published author of the book, "A Bear Named Cinnamon", Vanessa Schwabe, who all shared their love for reading with our students!
