• Please ensure your child brings a coat to school each day.
• Please ensure PE kit is always in school all week - it is worth putting joggers and a jumper in now due to the change in weather.
• New after-school childcare is now bookable on Arbor and is available until 6pm for £8.
• Breakfast club can be booked on Arbor and is now free for all children.

Each half-term the children can earn reading rewards for reading at home or in our free reading school clubs. In school reading clubs are worth 3 reads each and can be booked via Arbor with the other clubs. There is a reading club on a Wednesday lunchtime too for those who cannot stay after school.

Reading reward levels:

Bronze - 18 reads

Silver - 24 reads

Gold - 36 reads

We would love it if reads could be uploaded to Seesaw or Tapestry ideally as a video so we can hear your reading and get immersed in the book too. If you have any difficulties with this please see a member of your child's teaching team.

Next week, we will be looking at the story of the 'Jolly Postman' and exploring letters. Little Pearls will then be writing their own letters to Santa!

• We are displaying family photos in our home corner and will be discussing them over this half-term. If you would like to send in any family photos and photos of your house it would be much appreciated.

• Please book nursery provision by Thursday each week wherever possible.

As we will now all be digging out our winter wardrobes it is a great time to get rid of any that we may have out grown. If your child has any coats, hats, gloves, scarfs or wellies that no longer fit please consider donating them to school. We shall arrange a week where we will put them all out and people can come and take any that would fit their child.

There will also be a Christmas jumper swap in the next few weeks so if your child has a Christmas jumper or outfit they have grown out of then please keep hold of it and they may be able to swap it with a friend.

Christmas jumper swap date: Monday 8th feel free to bring a Christmas jumper that is too small or you no longer want and see if you can swap with someone else - all jumpers must be in good condition please.
