Black History Month Black History Month

In recognition of February as Black History Month, we are pleased to feature a special interview conducted by the Journalism class a few years ago. This interview highlights alumni from Campbell School, which served as the educational institution for African American students prior to desegregation. The alumni share their personal stories and reflect on the challenges they faced during that time.

School Counselor Appreciation Week School Counselor Appreciation Week

School Counselor Appreciation Week is February 3-7. School counselors do so much more than help students plan their schedules—they are mentors, listeners, problem-solvers, and champions for student success in every way. Whether guiding students through academic challenges, providing emotional support, or helping with future planning, they make a lasting impact on countless lives.

To Amanda Patterson, the amazing counselor at RHS: Thank you for your kindness, your wisdom, and your unwavering support. Our school is stronger because of you!

Locker Facelift

Some of the lockers at RHS are getting a fresh new look! Under the guidance of Mrs. Taylor, the RHS art teacher, this project is well underway. Senior capstone classes are currently preparing the lockers for painting, and once completed, they will be transformed to resemble the spines of various books.
