Start with "Hello" week: September 19-23

The Start with Hello program has been designed to help students identify loneliness and social isolation in their peers while teaching them strategies to reach out and help out to develop a community of inclusivity.

Through the support and leadership of our Counselor, Mrs. Pullin along with student council, the following is the agenda for "Start with Hello" Week:

  • Monday - "Hey Day" - everyone wears a name tag so others can reach out and say "Hey"
  • Tuesday - Positive Post-it note day - students in class will write positive post-it notes to be displayed in the classroom
  • Wednesday - Mix it up day: Encourage students to introduce themselves to a new friend and play with someone they don’t usually play with.

- Attire: students can mix and match shoes, socks, hair ties, scrunchies.. School Uniform / Spirit Shirt still required

  • Thursday: Random Acts of Kindness - perform a random act of kindness
  • Friday: Wear Green to promote unity and inclusivity

Parking and Pick-up at Trinity Church

Nohl Canyon continues to communicate with Trinity Church on parking procedures inside Trinity's parking lot. Nohl Canyon still does not have the "all clear" to park in their parking lot. We want to continue to be courteous neighbors and follow any parking lot instructions they give in the near future.

Student PICK-UP at Trinity:

  • If you are parked near Trinity and meet your child at your car, please continue to do that.
  • TRINITY grass area SHOULD NOT be used as a waiting spot for your child. We do not want any unsupervised students waiting where NC staff cannot see them.
  • If you are picking up your child after the traffic disperses, please have your child wait in front of Nohl Canyon and NOT wait at Trinity.
