Gifted Fine Arts Weekly Update

Gifted Fine Arts students viewed videos of Kabuki (a Japanese performing art and dance,) Ballet and Social Dances. These videos shared a bit of history and showed great examples of their styles. Students are now taking one dance move from the videos viewed and creating their own dance move to incorporate into a 2 minute dance video. (Think Tik Tok!) They are due 4/14 on Google Classroom. Students were given alternatives, and/or also encouraged to get their families dancing with them! :)

Anyone that wants to share their video can in our weekly Zoom meeting on 4/15.

Next week we will be selecting famous visual art pieces to talk about and create a project from. It's going to be a fun one, so look for pics when it's done!

Remember: Zoom meetings are a great time to come together and enjoy each other. We touch on questions, too, but look for a fun zoom coming up this week.
