In honor of Dr. King, our Community Outreach Committee is partnering with Randolph Township and Nourish NJ for two meaningful opportunities to give back this month:

🌟 Randolph Community Food Pantry Volunteers

Thank you to the wonderful families that volunteered at the food pantry this Monday to help with the community food drive. Thank you to the Bury, Elmasri, Kobola, Walliser, Vetere, Nwachuku, Carbery, Wyatt, DeVleeschouwer, Weiner & Ascone families for your help. They had an awesome time labeling and organizing donations.

Didn't stop by to donate food yet? They are always accepting non-perishable items to add to their supply. Greater needs right now include: tissues, paper towels, peas, pancake mix, fruit cups & protein bars.

🧼 Toiletry Drive — January 19–23

Ironia is hosting a Toiletry Drive this week to support Nourish NJ. Families are encouraged to donate travel-sized toiletry items—those extras tucked away in drawers and closets can make a big difference! Collection bins will be available in the cafeteria and near the front office until Friday, 1/23.

On January 23, volunteers are needed to meet at Ironia at 4 PM to help sort and bag donations for individuals experiencing homelessness. Sign up here.

Our Spirit Wear Committee will be setting up a table at our Cultural Night! So be sure to stop by and check out what they have in stock to sell. 👕

Art teachers from all Randolph Elementary Schools are gearing up for our 3rd Annual Close The Gap art gallery at the County College of Morris!!

Art that was created by our 3rd graders will be displayed from January 23-February 26th with a special reception for families next Thursday, January 29th from 6-8pm at CCM.

What is CLOSE THE GAP?

Close The Gap brings adults with disabilities into 3rd grade art classrooms to create a project together with the purpose of allowing students to gain an understanding of, build relationships with and become comfortable with people with intellectual disabilities through intentional exposure using art as the vehicle. The art gallery will display art projects that our 3rd graders created in partnership with the Randolph Transition House and ARC.

Your fin-tastic Winterfest Committee is diving in with a friendly request for prize donations! 🐙✨ All treasures must be dropped off by 1/30, so we have plenty of time to polish them up for the BIG day!

No need to bring a full treasure chest—new, unopened items that can be used as prizes are always appreciated. We'll add your prize to one of our other donations to make an awesome basket!

🍭 Instant Raffle Fun (Kid Favorite!)

Each Winterfest at 12:30 PM, the Instant Raffle opens and the excitement bubbles over! Kids pick a lollipop to see if they’re a winner—pure magic! ✨
We are collecting new, unopened toys or kids’ games to keep this crowd-favorite swimming along. Take a look around your house to see what you can find to donate!

We’re collecting photos for the yearbook and end-of-year slideshow! Please submit one baby photo of your 5th grader along with a 1–2 word career aspiration for the yearbook. We’re also collecting “Through the Years” memory photos from any event during your child’s time at Ironia for our memory slideshow. See flyer attached for details.
