BAND NEWS

Happy Sunday PMB,

Pre-Camp week is here! We finally get to begin putting our 2026 production together! There's a lot of work ahead of us - but what we will put out on the field will be something we are so proud of. And that starts tomorrow! Make sure you know what time your section has practice!!!

Announcements for the week!

• Band Spirit Wear Shop should open up this week. We are using the same company as last year so they will send us a link to their online shop. I will send it out as soon as it is live
• Shoe Fittings - anyone new or returning who needs shoes will need to get fitted during their sectional this week so we can order to get our shoes in time for picture day
• Band Camp Lunch Parent Help - every year we need a couple of parents to help make sandwiches and fill lunch orders during band camp from 11am-12:30pm. If you want to help sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/904044FAAAA29AAFF2-64823336-2026
• Disney Payment #2 is coming up on August 7th. It is the first $300 payment.

This week is focused on section specific fundamentals and the very beginnings of the show music. Students are divided into sectionals based on their instrument. Make sure you know when your sectional is!

Notes About The Week:

• We will be outside for almost the entire day - plan accordingly!
• Lunch is provided for all students every day of band camp
• Students get a choice of Turkey, Ham, or PB&J sandwich and a side of Fruit, Chips, and a treat
• Students may of course pack their own lunch
• Band Room opens at 7am for drop off
• All absences must be communicated directly to Mr. Sleggs via remind or email

Monday July 27

• Full Band 8am-2pm
• Band Bowling Trip 2pm-4pm (provided by the band boosters, buses will transport students to and from the bowling alley)
• We will got on the bus at 1:45pm and should be back just before 4:00pm
• Theme for the day: Murica' Monday (wear your red white and blue)

Tuesday July 28

• Full Band 8am-2pm
• Theme for the day: Twin Tuesday (twin with a friend or more)

Wednesday July 29

• Full Band 8am-2pm
• Theme for the day: PINK DAY (because on Wednesdays we wear pink)
• PMB Movie Night 6pm-8pm (popcorn & pizza provided)
• Bring your own movie candy and pop!
• Wear pajamas, bring a folding chair, blanket, etc...

Thursday July 30

• Full Band 8am-2pm
• Theme for the day: Beach/Hawaiian Day!

Friday July 31

• Full Band 8am-2pm
• Theme for the day: Color Wars (section colors!)
• Meet The Band & PMB Family Picnic 5pm-7pm
• Hot dogs, Chips, Water provided by the boosters

• Spirit wear round 1 will open soon!
• It will all be online and delivered to BRHS to save on shipping and to try and get things before the first or second game

• Fall Sports Picture day is Aug. 7th!

• $55 MTX Marching Shoes

• $40 Guard Shoes

• Paid directly to the band boosters when uniform items are needed

Dry Cleaning Fee - PAID IN THE SCHOOL OFFICE

• Assessed as a class fee, paid to the school either online or through a check to the office
