Stevens High School proudly serves 218 military families on our campus. Barbara Lebron is our military liaison and our head counselor, but we have eight other counselors on our campus that can also be of assistance. Contact Mrs. Lebron for more information.
Services for Military Families
Stevens High School offers a variety of services for our military families. We recognize our Veterans on Veterans' Day with a ceremony by inviting all the military families, teachers and staff members that are veterans. We participate in Purple Up Day during April, the Month of the Military Child to honor children from families in all branches of the military.
College, Career and Military Advising
Mrs. Wright schedules recruiters from all the military branches to meet with students throughout the school year. Mrs. Wright schedules ASVAB testing twice a year to assist students with the recruitment process, and provides meetings to interpret the scores. She also conducts a career fair in which representatives from all of the military branches attend to discuss career opportunities with students. During Senior Signing Day, students who enlist in a military branch are recognized.
