Thank you to our families and students for a GREAT first quarter! I"ve enjoyed getting to know your children and I love seeing the growth they've had in just a few short months! Please enjoy your break with your children - we look forward to continuing the learning after break!

Thank you to those parents who were able to attend PT Conferences this week. Your feedback is important to us, so please take a moment to complete our survey to help us improve the experience for parents.

Ms. Ramirez's preschool class is learning about different forces. They used textured and smooth and cotton balls to experiment with. They used their hands and feet, and they learned they can use their breath to make things move! It is easier to move with our breath when it light and smooth. Thank you Ms. Ramirez for planning such an interactive lesson!

The first Monday of the month brings another of our Motivational Monday Assemblies! Congrats to all the students that were honored by their teachers for demonstrating September's core belief "Friendship".

Thank you to Ms. Kaitlynn Short, our Media Specialist, for hosting an amazing book fair! Hopefully you got to stop by and pick up some new reading material!

Help us stock up for the upcoming Village Meadows Trunk or Treat! We are hosting a school-wide Candy Drive challenge to see which class can collect the MOST unopened candy by weight. The winning class will earn a pizza for EACH student, courtesy of ACE Security Management! The contest runs through 10/20/26, with weekly standings updated by Mr. Lawrence during morning announcements. Bring in those donations and help your child's class take the lead!

Ms Rivera's 5th grade class is in the lead with 18lbs, followed by Ms. Taylor's Kindergarten class with 17 lbs

Here is the calendar of monthly events planned by PTO. We are so grateful for our PTO and all the ways they support our school!

Fry's Foods has a community program we are participating in. Anyone who shops at Fry's can go to their Fry's app and opt into the program. Fry's will then give back a percentage of the sales from everyone opted in back to us:

• If you shop at Fry’s please help the PTO by opting into their rewards program. Once opted in anytime you shop Fry's will donate back to the PTO. Anyone can do it even if they don’t go to our school. Invite your family and friends. Below are instructions to opt in. BUT, please be sure you pick the correct school as there is a Village Meadows in Sierra Vista as well.

Each month, we focus on a different core essential value. October's Value is Friendship. See the flyer for how you can reinforce this value at home.
