BASD is Hosting Vaccine Clinics

UPMC reached out to the school district and asked if we would provide a space for them to conduct a vaccine clinic. The flyer below lists the details. Walk-ins are welcome, or you may choose to sign-up beforehand. This clinic is for all eligible individuals. You do not have to be a student to receive a vaccine. NOTE: Burgettstown Area School District does not require vaccines and this clinic should not be interpreted as the school district doing so. We are simply providing space for UPMC to provide this service for our school district. Click HERE if you wish to schedule an appointment. Again, scheduling ahead of time is not mandatory.

Talking to Your Child About Social Media Use

With today's Tik Tok episode consuming the thoughts of so many, we encourage parents and guardians to open the lines of communication about appropriate social media behavior. While a quick Google search can provide a lot of information, we want to share this one source: CLICK HERE It is never too early to open these lines of communication.

Congratulations to the S.P.E.A.R.S. middle school parent group for hosting a successful Andy's Candies fundraiser! The group managed to raise $640 to help support and enhance activities in our middle school classrooms! We are grateful to be able to partner with our middle school families and support a local business through this fundraiser, and are looking forward to seeing how our students will benefit from this support!

We are always looking for more volunteers! If you would like to be a part of the S.P.E.A.R.S. Parent Group, please email Mrs. Shaffer, BMHS Dean of Students, at mshaffer@burgettstown.k12.pa.us.
