Defender Families,

Week 14 is here, and we have just two more weeks of school in the month of November.

Important Date to Remember:

• Tuesday, November 11: No school in observance of Veterans Day.

We are deeply thankful for all the families who have served or are currently serving in the military. We appreciate your sacrifice, dedication, and unwavering commitment to protecting our country. School will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, as we honor and reflect on the service of those who have bravely defended our freedoms.

Mark your calendar!!! There is no school on Tuesday, November 11th in honor of Veteran's Day!!! Thank you to all individuals who have served or currently serving.

Drop off cans/items to room 515 in the morning before school.

DMS is lucky to have an amazing School Psychologist. She is an incredible resource for students, staff, and our DMS families.

Best Practices for serving Native Youth - Link Here

Students participated in a Glow Stick Lab - they focused on heat transfer to finish up the unit on earth and solar energy.

Students were creating roller coasters to demonstrate kinetic energy.

Students participated in Community Based Instruction by attending a field trip to the park and In and Out.

DMS Leadership: WEB, Scholar Squad, Daybreak, Yearbook, and ASB participated in leadership tasks throughout Disneyland.
