Abernethy 2023-24 OBOB
October 26, 2023
Hello Abernethy Families,
I hope this email finds you well on this rainy day!
To help with an easy registration experience for OBOB, I have created a Google Doc for teams to sign up. Please include all information no later than November 15th. After that date, I will email your team with all the information you’ll need to get started.
If your child would like to participate in OBOB but does not have a team, I have also created a “Team Connect” Google Doc. I will compile student’s information and help set up teams. You are welcome to browse the document yourself and reach out to other parents to coordinate a team as well.
OBOB is an incredible opportunity for children to make friends, be a part of a team, and read some amazing books they otherwise might not get to experience. We will do our very best to ensure no child is left out.
Your team only needs 4 players, but can have up to 5. This is for grades 3-5, and teams can be mixed grades. If you and/or your child is on the fence, we encourage you to give it a try! Every year the kids love participating, have a great time, and feel such a sense of pride and comradely.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Please find the links below to register and sign up for Team Connect.
All the best,
Jessica Frank
