Head of School Updates

As we wrap up the first trimester, I want to extend my sincere appreciation for your support and partnership. Thanksgiving is a time centered on gratitude and reflection. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone reading this message for your continued commitment to Sussex Academy.

In addition, after launching our Soaring Higher fundraising campaign in August, I am proud to share that we have now raised $98,047.83 across all tiers of the campaign! Our students and families will soon begin to see how we are investing this generous support into capital improvements across both campuses. This will begin with Bella Terra Landscaping enhancing our secondary campus through a $16,160 in-kind donation, which will significantly improve our beautification efforts. Please see the image below or click here to view all of the community members whose generous contributions are helping our school soar even higher.

Have a safe and restful Thanksgiving holiday!

We are excited to share that Sussex Academy will be joining the Free Breakfast program in December! Please see the attached PDF for the communication that was sent to families yesterday with all the details. Our K-5 families can also click here for easy access to opt into this program.

Check out our clean stage floors, thanks to Zorzi Creations!! Just a couple weeks ago, the stage looked like a Jackson Pollock painting, stained with accidental paint splotches and spills after a decade of use and dozens of productions. But, thanks to the generosity and speedy work of Mike Zorzi and his company, it was cleaned and ready for last weekend's onstage production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Thank you Zorzi Creations!!!
