New Information

Third grade worked so hard at testing!! We can't wait to see other grades show what they know! 4th and 5th grades take the Reading and Writing ATLAS tests this week--Thursday 23rd, Friday 24th.

We need your help as we finish the school year strong! Please make sure students arrive at school on time each day.

  • Pre-K: Enter between 7:30–7:45
  • All other students: Enter between 7:25–7:45
  • Tardy bell rings at 7:45

If your child arrives after 7:45, please check them in at the office so they are not marked absent. Instruction begins right away, and Tier 2 groups start at 8:00. Arriving on time helps students avoid missing important learning and keeps classrooms running smoothly.

Thank you for your support!

Reminders:

  • Our Yearbook order through the company has closed. If you still would like to purchase one, please bring $30 to the office ASAP (Cash or Check to Young Elem) to put your name on the waitlist. Depending on how many we receive, we will go through the waitlist in order money was turned in.
  • See information about the Talent Show in the Specials Section Below.
  • Summer STEAM Camp opportunity and information about the first Young Fishing Derby can be seen below.

A Note About Teacher Appreciation Week

Hey there Yellowjacket family! Somehow we blinked and the end of the year is upon us. With that comes one of our favorite weeks to give back, Teacher Appreciation! This is the week we get to love a little extra on our AMAZING BYE Teachers & Staff. Teacher Appreciation is the week of May 4- May 8. We have a full & fun Beach themed week planned for them!

We have several sponsors & generous donations to help make this week truly special. We could use your help to push it over the top with a Tropical Trail Mix bar as well as stocking their lounge with some essentials that will help carry them through to the end of the year. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Please return ALL items to the school by FRIDAY, MAY 1, 2026!

Let's really show our teachers & staff some extra love this last month of school. We appreciate all of your support in helping to make this school year the BEST yet! We have one of the most amazing villages around!

Much love & gratitude, PTA
