Eagle Express Eagle Express

Dear Arrowwood Families,

As we wrap up an outstanding school year, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to your entire family. Our nest faced some unexpected storms this year, from navigating a sudden building flood to weathering multiple snow days, but our community proved that Eagles can soar through any challenge. It has been an absolute pleasure watching your students grow, learn, and display such incredible resilience every single day.

To our 5th Graders: We send you off with the warmest well wishes as you spread your wings and head to middle school. We are so proud of you! To our returning students: We are already filled with excitement to continue working with you and watching you achieve new heights in the fall.

Save the Date! We invite you all to fly back to the nest for our building Open House on August 19th from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. Class assignments will be released at the beginning of August on Skyward.

Remember that our last day of school will be a half day and students will dismiss at 10:45 AM. We will be streaming the Fifth Grade Clap Out as the opening ceremony to our field day this year as one last send off the Eagles. The rest of the day students will be rotating through stations with their class, enjoying a snow cone courtesy of our PTO, and have final moments in their current classroom. Please be sure that students have comfortable shoes for active play and do not bring any other extra items to school. They will be moving all morning long and making memories. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Arrowwood PTO and you must have an approved background check by Tuesday, May 26th.

Make it a great summer, Eagles!

What's Happening Around Arrowwood? What's Happening Around Arrowwood?

We Need Your Help!

We need your help to keep all of our Eagles safe during arrival and dismissal times. Students should not be dropped off or released from vehicles before 7:25 AM, as there is no adult supervision available prior to that time.

We have recently noticed a significant number of students arriving early or walking through the parking lot without an adult escort. Please do not release students in the parking lot exit area. If you are utilizing the parking lot for drop-off, we ask that you park in a designated parking spot and walk your child to the crosswalk to ensure everyone’s safety.

We also ask that drivers avoid phone calls and stay fully attentive while in the parking lot and drop-off areas. Your attention and cooperation make a big difference in helping us maintain a safe environment for all students.

Thank you for partnering with us to keep our Eagles safe!

May 29th is Field Day

We are wrapping up the school year with the ultimate celebration: Field Day is officially happening on the very last day of school! Get ready for a morning packed with fun, games, and non-stop action.

To make sure your student is fully prepared to jump into the fun, here is a quick checklist for the big day:

  • 👟 Sneaker Check: Please wear tennis shoes perfect for running and playing.

  • ☀️ Sunscreen First: Slap on that SPF before heading out the door to stay protected.

  • 💧 Stay Hydrated: Don’t forget to pack a trusty labeled water bottle.

  • 👕 Dress to Move: Wear comfortable clothes made for moving and grooving.

Leave the heavy lifting at home: Students will not need their backpacks on the last day of school. Let's make this the best final day ever!
