November 2025 Newsletter
A Message From the Principal's Desk
Dear BMS Families,
As we approach the end of October, we are excited to celebrate with a variety of fun activities including our costume parade, homeroom celebrations, and a festive Halloween dance!
With the cooler weather settling in, please remind your child to bring appropriate clothing and outerwear to stay warm and comfortable during outside recess and other outdoor activities.
Thank you to those parents and guardians who attended parent-teacher conferences. Teachers and staff appreciate the opportunity to connect with you regarding your child's learning! If you were unable to attend, please reach out to teachers and other BMS staff, with your questions and feedback, at any time. Emails and phone numbers for all staff can be found on the BMS website.
Happy Fall!

BMS Principal
Congratulations to Our Students of the Month!
Student Registration
Thank you to those parents who completed the online student registration at the start of the school year.
If you have not done so, your child will be unable to travel for school functions including field trips and athletic events.
If you need assistance completing the online student registration, please contact Ms. Harelstad in our main office.
Holiday Break
There is no school for students November 21st through November 28th.
Happy Thanksgiving!
End of Trimester 1
Trimester 1 ends on November, 20th.
We’re excited to celebrate the end of Trimester 1 on Thursday, November 20th! Students will take part in a fun game of Bingo and enjoy watching the Staff vs. 8th Grade Student Volleyball Game.
Report Cards
The trimester ends on November 20th. Your child's report card will include feedback regarding their progress on first trimester learning targets.
The target-based grading scales converts to a letter grade (A, B, C, D, F) in Skyward and on report cards for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
Similar to last school year, report cards will be accessed through Skyward Family Access under the Portfolio tab. A district email and phone call will notify you when they are available. You will also be able to print them from Family Access if you would like to. Upon request, we will send a print copy to you. Contact your school office if you would like to make that request.
