3. Explore Opportunities: Use the filter button to view Opportunties by type, career cluster, location, and paid/unpaid.
4. Request & Apply: Review Opportunity details/eligibility, click the Request button, your Work-Based Learning Specialist will contact you with application instructions.

• Event Organizer: Thompson and Poudre School Districts
• What: The Senior Hiring Fair is for graduating seniors who are staying local and are looking for a longer-term part-time or full-time job, or entry into a career. The event will feature businesses and organizations from throughout Larimer and Weld counties who will host informative booths, take taking applications and resumes, and event interviewing on the spot! This is a FREE event.
• Who's Invited: Graduating seniors who are staying local and are looking for a longer-term part-time or full-time job, or entry into a career.
• When: Thursday, April 9th. 9am to 12pm.
• Where: Foothills Mall in Fort Collins (northwest entrance near H&M)
• How to prepare: Bring multiple copies of your resume, dress nicely, and plan for the possibility of interviewing with recruiters at the event.
• Bussing Offered: Skip the traffic and secure the job! When you sign up in Xello, you can select to ride with us or drive yourself to the event. Join us on the bus and make your day easier!
• Sign-up: Sign up in Xello. Permission forms are required so you can be excused from school.

• Camp Organizer: Colorado Youth Outdoors
• What: The Pathfinders Leadership Camp is a one-week, career exploration and skill-building day camp for 14 and 15-year-olds. Pathfinders campers will spend time fishing, shooting archery, and canoeing and they'll also learn CYO campus operations to gain hands-on experience, earn resume-ready volunteer hours, and learn practical skills. Participants hear from outdoor professionals cabout career pathways in conservation, recreation, and environmental fields. Cost is $200 per camper - scholarships available.
• When: One week sessions from June 1st to July 31st. Monday-Thursday, 8am to 3pm.
• Where: Colorado Youth Outdoors - 4927 County Rd 36, Fort Collins (south of Costco).

• Company in Xello: Thompson School District - Extracurricular Enrichment Programs
• About this Volunteer Opportunity: Volunteers are needed for part or full day opportunities in a variety of areas including Judging & Scoring, Event Logistics, and Operations
• Tournament Date: Friday, April 24th. 8:30am to 4:30pm.
• Location: Loveland High School
• Earn: Volunteer hours for the community service graduation requirement
• Who's Eligible: Age 13+. No experience necessary.

• About this internship: Produce sound and lights for summer productions at TVHS, Perform lighting, sound, and other maintenance in TSD auditoriums
• Schedule: 65 hours during Summer 2026, approx. 10-15 hours/week, some nights and weekends
• Location: School Auditoriums in TSD
• Earn: Paid and unpaid options, both earn .5 elective credit
• Who's Eligible: Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors, age 15+, Interest in tech theater, No experience necessary

• Company in Xello: desk chair workspace
• About this Part-time Job: Assist with event set-up/ tear-down, provide table service, take drink orders and stock supplies, use point of sale system to cash out guests. Training provided.
• Schedule: May to September, 20-30 hours/week, work days, nights, and weekends
• Location: Downtown Loveland
• Earn: $15/hour plus tips (avg. $20-$25/hour with tips)
• Who's Eligible: Age 17 and up, Hospitality, Catering or Food Service experience preferred, reliable transportation and flexible schedule

• Company in Xello: Food Bank for Larimer County
• About this Internship: Support outreach and engagement on the Lunch Lab summer food truck by connecting with teens, kids, and families in parks, libraries, and neighborhoods.
• Schedule: Late May to mid-August, 1-2 days/week, 3 hours/day, 10:30am-1:30pm
• Location: Loveland and Fort Collins
• Earn: Unpaid internship for elective credit or earn community service hours
• Who's Eligible: Age 16 and up, energetic, outgoing, friendly, reliable transportation, ability to walk and be outdoors, prior experience working with children a plus!

• Company in Xello: Larimer County Economic & Workforce Development
• About this Internship: Working for the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment to help lead youth coalition meetings, develop health promotion projects, and provide input and perspective to various stakeholders around teen-related activities.
• Schedule: Starts in June 2026, 1 year commitment, 5 hours/week, in-person and remote
• Location: 1 intern will serve Loveland/Berthoud, 1 for Estes Park, 2 for Fort Collins
• Earn: $17/hour
• Who's Eligible: Age 16-18, must live in community where the internship is, high school student for 26-27 school year, knowledge or experience working with children/youth

• About this Internship: Event planning, scheduling, event and catering set-up, office tasks, while learning about large-scale event coordination processes
• Schedule: Sumemr internship. Must be available during the Fair - July 25-August 5.
• Location: The Ranch / Larimer County Fairgrounds, Loveland
• Earn: $15.16/hour minimum wage
• Who's Eligible: Age 15+. Reliable transportation. 16-18, looking for youth with good communication, time management, and organization skills.

• About this summer job: Camp and Work outdoors on a crew of youth and adults doing trail building, fencing, noxious weed eradication, painting, campground maintenance, etc.
• Schedule: 4 week sessions - June 7-July 2 or July 12-August 6. 32 hours/week.
• Location: Multiple locations in northwest Colorado. Start/end location is Steamboat Springs
• Earn: $1455.36 pre-tax stipend
• Who's Eligible: Students entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade next school year. Ability to camp and complete projects in varied weather conditions. Physical ability to complete projects outside for 8 hours a day, and hike 3-5 miles/day while carrying up to 50 lbs of weight.
